We are a New Zealand M&A advisory company specialising in the  infrastructure, defence, industrial, facilities, engineering and trade services sectors. Founded by Andrew Edwards in 2021, Pirongia Capital has assisted several organisations in developing their acquisition growth strategies and implementing a buy then build strategy. 

 

We support organisations looking for a fresh alternative to the traditional acquisition model that relies on expensive, non-operational consultants.

What makes Pirongia Capital different is that all of our Directors, Manager and Consultants have hands-on experience they have actively managed, led, and directly integrated newly acquired businesses into existing operations.

We’ve done it ourselves, learned the lessons, and are now ready to help you achieve the same with practical, proven experience. Where does our name come from?

Pirongia Capital is named after a beautiful mountain in Waikato, New Zealand – Called Mount Pirongia. Mount Pirongia is an extinct stratovolcano North Island. It rises to 959 m (3,146 ft) and is the highest peak around the Waikato plains.

This mountain is our Te Maunga, our spiritual home and guiding force of our company. This mountain was our founder's favourite activity place while he grew up. Going for long tramps and camping on the mountain.
